'Pre-marketing' estate agency Ostrich plans to roll out across London next year.

Tom Gough has taken over from Patsy Walton as the property portal's head of marketing.

'It looks as though investors are too focused on the historic positives than the challenges to earnings ahead,' warns The Times.

'An overwhelming majority of [member estate agents] have chosen to continue to support OnTheMarket and remain as shareholders for the next stage of our journey,' says CEO Jason Tebb.

Agent-owned property portal is working towards a big website upgrade - dubbed "OnTheMarket 2.2" - in the first half of 2024.

The property market downturn has 'not been our friend', says Boomin founder Michael Bruce as employees are told of the fledgling property portal's insolvency.

OnTheMarket's 'listening tour' has been recognised for its part in 'raising the bar for customer experience in the UK'.

Johan Svanström will take over from Peter Brooks-Johnson as Rightmove's Chief Executive Officer early next year.

'It’s time for us to look to recalibrate the roles in our organisation to align to the next chapter in our journey,' says property portal and proptech firm.

Knight Frank, Savills, Chestertons, Carter Jonas, Glentree are amongst those re-committing to the property portal, as fast-growing estate agency group Lomond signs up.

Former journalist Gráinne Gilmore is one of the most influential property market analysts in the business, having run research for Knight Frank, Zoopla and now Cluttons.

"The launch of OnTheMarket Software will strengthen our position as a software solutions provider for our agents," says OTM chief Jason Tebb.
