Real Business: How I went back to basics to build a successful property agency
After two decades in the corporate world, PCL agent Harry Wigram took the plunge and launched his own consultancy earlier this year - amid some seriously challenging market conditions. Here, he talks us through his first six months, explaining how some early goodwill helped dispel any anxieties about going it alone...

He began his career at Chesterton International before joining the exclusive Lane Fox flagship office in Chelsea, where he became a Partner after its merger with Strutt & Parker in 2007 and more recently its takeover by BNP Paribas Real Estate. Harry has built up a wealth of local knowledge over the time that he has been operating and thus boasts profound market intelligence, a vast client network and an impressive track record. With this and his long-standing relationships within the industry and inner agency circle, he is able to transact proactively with confidence and maturity.
