The number of starts and completions on new-build homes reached their highest level since 2008 at the end of 2015, rising by 23% in Q4 compared to the same period a year earlier.
Housebuilding starts and completions slip 9%
The number of new housebuilding starts in Q1 was 9% lower than in the same period a year earlier, according to the latest numbers from the Office of National Statistics.
