Aspiring Presidents of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors have only a few more days to get their applications in for the ambassadorial role of Senior Vice President, which leads onto the top job after two years.
The venerable professional body for those in land, property and construction is inviting expressions of interest from “high calibre individuals” for the key role, which starts in November 2017. Whoever bags the part-time position will be expected to serve as President from November 2019 to November 2020.
Here’s what they’re looking for..
“We are seeking a highly effective professional from the industry who is prominent, engaging and strategic. The ideal candidate will exude authority on global issues and will be a powerful role model in every aspect of professionalism and responsible business. He or she will be at ease talking to senior figures from related sectors, international institutions and governments.
“The post-holder will be expected to play a key role in opening new market opportunities for the profession and attracting VIP speakers to the annual World Built Environment Forum.
“The Senior Vice President will also play a leading role in our Governing Council. We particularly welcome candidates with diverse skills, experience and background for this part-time role.”
