Catrin Rees is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Dispute Resolution team who specialises in all elements of construction and engineering law. Catrin is an experienced construction litigator and has advised in High Court, adjudication and arbitration proceedings (including international arbitration). She has a particular interest in alternative dispute resolution methods and also advises on dispute avoidance tactics from an early stage. Catrin advises on all aspects of non-contentious construction, including the drafting of building contracts, professional appointments, warranties and bonds, whether using standard industry forms or as bespoke contracts, and has advised clients from across the spectrum of the construction industry and represented employers, contractors, subcontractors, professional consultants and home owners in a wide and diverse range of matters, properties and projects. Catrin is a member of the Society of Construction Law and the Procurement Lawyers Association.
