Jack Newman

I am a Research Fellow at the School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol. My research asks how the reform of political institutions can lead to more effective public policy. With a focus on spatial inequality and English devolution, I have worked on projects on local policymaking (Uni of Surrey), the UK constitution (Uni of Cambridge), and productivity (Uni of Manchester). My current research considers the capacity of political institutions to implement preventative health policy.
