Zoopla Property Group, the owner of Zoopla, uSwitch and PrimeLocation, has just signed a lease for a new headquarters next to Tower Bridge.
ZPG has taken the whole self-contained building – around 44,000 square feet – at 1 Courage Yard, Shad Thames, London SE1, which used to be the Cooperage House to the Courage Yard Brewery. A comprehensive-sounding renovation job is now underway, with completion due sometime this Summer.
The eight-year-old business currently occupies three separate buildings in SE1, which it only moved into a couple of years ago, having grown to over 450 employees since its launch. All staff will be housed in the new Shad Thames HQ.
ZPG was advised by DeVono and Gordons Partnership LLP. Hall Kemp & Jones Lang Lasalle advised the landlord.
Alex Chesterman, Founder & CEO of ZPG: “We have outgrown our existing offices despite having only moved two years ago as a result of our continued growth and the acquisition of uSwitch last year. I am delighted that we have found a great new space in a vibrant part of London, close to our existing offices and with great transport links which will allow us to bring all our teams together under one roof later in the year. We have a fantastic and dedicated team and look forward to creating an amazing new home for them.”
