Zoopla Property Group shortens its name

Proptech megalith formally becomes ZPG Plc

Zoopla Property Group Plc has officially changed its name to the pithier ZPG Plc.

Shareholders rubber-stamped the move at the firm’s Annual General Meeting on 2nd February, and it’s already in effect; the company’s ticker on the London Stock Exchange changed to LSE:ZPG this morning (6th Feb).

Here’s the corporate reasoning: “The name change to ZPG reflects the evolution and diversity of the business as the owner of some of the UK’s most trusted home-related digital platforms including Zoopla, uSwitch, PrimeLocation, Hometrack and Property Software Group.”
