Senior appointments at AshbyCapital investments to date reach £1.25 billion

Property investment advisory AshbyCapital has a new Investment Director and Head of Asset Marketing as the business’s investments to date hit £1.25 billion.

Peter Ferrari’s four-year-old operation has promoted former JER Partners man Charles Etienne-Lawrence to Investment Director after four years at the firm. His previous roles have included stints on the finance and advisory teams at both HSBC and RBS.

New Head of Asset Marketing Lucy Arthur joins the Executive Team and will work with Chief Exec Peter Ferrari and Asset Manager Tom Smithers on marketing and comms, tenant relations, and “customer experience” across Ashby’s portfolio.

Peter Ferrari, Chief Executive at AshbyCapital: “Since setting up AshbyCapital four years ago, we have invested in a strong and growing portfolio of high-quality assets across the UK. Both Charles and Lucy have been instrumental to our success and these promotions reflect their continued valuable contribution to the business.”

The firm set out with a mandate to invest £1.5 billion in the UK property market on behalf of its group investment company and now describes itself as “one of the industry’s most active players”. The most recent mega-deal involved the acquisition of Kaupthing’s 50% stake in London’s Fitzroy Place development for a whopping £217.1m.
