New Property Director for Martin’s Properties

Chelsea-based investment and development firm looking to boost portfolio

Tom Martin’s investment and development business has hired RO Group’s Richard Bourne as Property Director.

The former Investment & Development Director and Head of Property at RO Real Estate has joined the Board at Martin’s Properties – which is chaired by supermarket veteran Neil Sachdev – with a brief to boost the company’s portfolio.

Best known for its Chelsea estate, the firm is currently working on projects including a 30,000 square foot A1, D1 and C3 scheme on the King’s Road, a 26,000 square foot B1 scheme in Islington, six high-end town houses in Chiswick and a 10,000 square foot mansion in Cobham.

The company recently launched Obsidian Strategic, a £100m play currently building up a land portfolio in the south east in partnership with BlackOnyx.
