Hamptons unveils new research team

Hamptons International has announced some major changes to its Research Department, recruiting two big-hitters from Hometrack and RBS to head things up.

The firm has appointed Johnny Morris as Head of Resi Research and Fionnuala Earley as Resi Research Director. Both will be based at the Mayfair HQ.

Morris joins from Hometrack Data Systems, with previous stints at CBRE and Catalyst Housing Group, and brings “a particular specialism in generating value from complex and diverse data sets”.

Earley joins from the Royal Bank of Scotland and was previously the Chief Economist at Nationwide Building Society. She has also worked as an economist in Brussels, at the Council for Mortgage Lenders and at the FSA.

The team will apparently be concentrating on producing “innovative and robust analysis on key UK and international residential market trends”.
