Mayfair-based luxury development management and interior design firm Fenton Whelan has hired a new Creative Director.
Brought on board to head up Fenton Whelan Design, Georgina Wood will be in charge of coming up with “opulent” and “timeless” interiors across the firm’s £500m portfolio of PCL projects.
Wood has worked with some of the capital’s top names over the last few years, including Helen Green Design, whilst also establishing her own private consultancy under the banner of Georgina Wood Design. Her previous projects have included the landmark revamp of the Churchill Bar & Terrace at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Portman Square.
Wood will be working alongside an existing team of designers well-versed in the super-sleek; previous commissions have included concepts for five-star resorts like the Intercontinental Hotel Residential Dubai and Taipei’s W Hotel.

Founded in 2010 by Sanjay Sharma and James Van den Heule, Fenton Whelan’s burgeoning pipeline currently includes single and multi-unit resi schemes across Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Chelsea, Kensington, Holland Park, Notting Hill, Fitzrovia, Marylebone and St. John’s Wood.
