Farrells makes two appointments at the top in London

New Managing Partner for top architecture firm

Top-notch architecture practice Farrells has named Laura Mazzeo as Managing Partner of its London office, and Shevaughn Rieck as Partner responsible for delivering buildings through to completion.

The pair have been in play since the start of the year, but a just-released statement from the firm confirmed the news, saying that: “Whilst Sir Terry Farrell remains a key figurehead and is enjoying one of the most creative and fulfilling periods of his career, a new generation of leaders is taking the practice forward and these new Partners will help reinforce our succession planning.”

The new Managing Partner was previously a major player in the practice’s Hong Kong outpost, where she secured planning for the high profile West Kowloon Cultural District before moving to the London office in 2016 to head up the urban design team.

Rieck recently led a large multi-disciplinary team through the complexities of delivering Farrells flagship project: Chelsea Waterfront at Lots Road (read the latest on that here). She will now lead technical delivery for the firm’s six current London projects.
