A 14-year old has reportedly cut a £2m deal with property developers after flipping three acres of land he bought near his family home for £40k.
According to the Sun, “mini-millionaire” Harvey Millington acquired the real estate off some farmers after making £100k from his fledgling tax disc reminder business.
The original plan was to build and run a glamping operation on the site, but developers – who had subsequently bought up some surrounding land for a new estate – soon came knocking and offered him the seven-figure sum.
Harvey, who still wants to be a policeman, told the paper: “I wasn’t sure how much they were going to offer for the land, but they came up with £2million. It was too good to turn down. It’s a massive amount, especially for someone at my age.”
His dad, Howard, added: “If he started getting too big for his boots I would make sure he winds his neck in! But to be honest that won’t happen. I’ve taught him you have to work hard to get on in life. He’s a grounded lad and is just a great businessman.”
