Boutique agency DS Churchill teams up with Christie’s International Real Estate

The high-end consultancy, founded by Dominic Spencer-Churchill in 2003, is now representing the global network throughout the UK.

Dominic Spencer-Churchill’s longstanding boutique agency, DS Churchill, has announced a collaboration with global network Christie’s International Real Estate.

The high-end consultancy, which was set up in London by Spencer-Churchill nearly two decades ago and recently branched out into the country market, will now be representing Christie’s throughout the UK.

Founded over 30 years ago, the CIRE network spans nearly 50 countries and territories, and its affiliates have put through around US$500 billion worth of real estate transactions over the last five years. New brokerages have been signed up in Rome, Jersey and New Delhi in recent months.

Spencer-Churchill founded his eponymous firm in 2003

DS Churchill will be a “representative”, rather than an affiliate, offering its services to Christie’s clients under its own brand.

After a short stint at Winkworth, Spencer-Churchill started out by joining forces with Kirstie Allsopp to find properties in and around London for private clients. Allsopp went on to sign a contract with Channel 4 to front “Location, Location, Location”, and Spencer-Churchill set up his eponymous firm in 2003; originally focused on acquisitions, the Mayfair-based offering has expanded to include sales, lettings, investment and property management.

The firm brought in ex-Savills and Strutts director Luke Morgan earlier this year to run a new country operation, covering the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.

According to a statement, 70% of the firm’s business is advising overseas investors, and the majority of its transactions are conducted off-market.

Dan Conn, CEO of Christie’s International Real Estate: “Dominic is the ideal representative for us in the United Kingdom market to help us build the Christie’s International Real Estate business in one of the world’s most strategically important markets. He founded his firm on the principles of expertise, discretion, customer care and fostering long-term client relationships, ideals he has diligently adhered to for two decades and that align perfectly with the guiding pillars of the Christie’s brand.”

Dominic Spencer-Churchill: “We are delighted to be in collaboration with Christie’s International Real Estate and very much look forward to offering our dedicated services to Christie’s clients in the UK. There is great synergy in our two brands, with the Christie’s name long synonymous with the same excellence in service and discretion we so firmly believe in. Our relationship opens the door to Christie’s international networks to the benefit of our UK clients whilst ensuring the very best experience for Christie’s customers in the UK.”
