An impressive line-up of speakers has been announced for the The Luxury Business Sphere conference, which takes place on 8th October at One Whitehall Place.
The invitation-only annual event (open to all PrimeResi Members) has been set up by the team at influential interiors firm Taylor Howes, and marks an evolution of last year’s Business of Design Summit. It promises a full day agenda of insights, discussions and debates from across the luxury business sector, as well as plenty of “interdisciplinary networking”.
Personable FT columnist and “Wine Chap” Tom Harrow will be compering the day, introducing a realm of panels and presentations inspired by the event’s theme: “Talking About a Revolution – The New Languages of Luxury & Design”. Taylor Howes chief Karen Howes will be making an opening address alongside media and fashion maven Meribeth Parker.
Other confirmed highlights include:
- The Times’ Property Editor Anne Ashworth, chairing a panel of four prime property bigwigs – including Cain International’s Jonathan Goldstein and Lodha’s Charlie Walsh – in an exploration of “The Future of Global Luxury Real Estate and Interior Design”;
- Kate Reardon and Meribeth Parker of event partner Times LUXX “sharing the pulse of the industry”;
- Winston Chesterfield of Barton Consultants giving insights from Wealth X into “new codes of wealth”;
- trend forecasters Stylus, exploring the changing rules of luxury and latest trends shaping purchasing decisions among today’s luxury consumers;
- a conversation with Adam Brown, Creative Director Orlebar Brown, about the creation and growth of the swimwear brand, from launch in 2007 to be being bought out by Chanel in 2018;
- a session from award-winning business coach Shweta Jhajharia, on “Disruptive Growth Strategies”.
