Helena assists British and International families and entrepreneurs to structure and protect family wealth, and pass it down to the next generation successfully. Her work includes helping her clients with their UK tax planning, particularly in relation to UK residential property, and advising on the use of tax saving Wills and the structuring of asset acquisitions and transfers to minimise tax and achieve succession plans. Helena also advises personal representatives and trustees on all aspects of administering estates and trusts, and attorneys and families dealing with disability, incapacity and Court of Protection issues. Advising non-doms on UK tax changes is also a key part of her practice. Helena is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly. In 2013, Helena set up a unique blog (Wealth Lawyer UK) for wealth managers and accountants to share practical tips and insights into her work. She gives conference presentations about her specialisms, often to wealth managers with whom she often works closely. Helena’s expertise in Personal tax, Trust and Probate is highlighted in the Legal 500 and the Citywealth directory.
