Bangkok-based Andrew Batt is widely considered as an expert on matters relating to Thailand’s property and real estate industry, especially by buyers and investors from overseas. Calling Thailand his home for 12 years, Andrew’s knowledge has won acclaim from his property industry peers, as well as from publishers from around the world who have called on his opinions on matters relating to property in Thailand and more widely throughout Southeast Asia. Andrew is currently publishing www.thailandproperty.news, an impartial news website aimed at proving balanced news and information about the Thailand property and real estate market for an English audience. Andrew was previously International Content Editor for Thailand property portal Hipflat.com, Group Editor and Head of Content (International) for Dot Property, and International Group Editor at PropertyGuru Group, Asia’s number one property media company. On the real estate agency side he also spent a short time as General Manager for a Bangkok-based real estate agency. Andrew is a regular speaker and participant in property exhibitions and events throughout Southeast Asia, and further afield. He has moderated property events throughout Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Dubai and the United Kingdom.
