Winkworth sees profits fall on a ‘subdued’ sales market
Rising lettings revenue largely offset a decline in sales activity last year, reports the estate agency group - which also notes a 'stronger than expected' start to 2024.

Estate agency's pre-tax profits have slumped by 24% compared to last year, while total revenues are down 5%.

"Property prices have held up reasonably well but transactions have slowed, leading to a high number of agreed sales being delayed to the second half of the year," says leading estate agency.
