Winkworth predicts 5% drop for house prices this year
Estate agency expects an increase in the number of large family homes offered for sale as living costs climb. 'Downsizers will take that step forward and there will be more opportunity to buy that once in a generation house, which may have been with one family for over 30 years,' says Chief Exec Dominic Agace.
