Transaction numbers are recovering, but are still well below last year’s count

142 property sales above £5 million were recorded in Prime Central London in the first four months of this year, reports Savills, with a combined value of £1.42 billion.

The average "time to sell" a home has fallen by almost two weeks (31%) since lockdown restrictions were lifted, compared with the same period 12 months prior.

Prime Central London is set to become one of the UK's strongest-performing markets, predicts Savills, flipping a trend seen since 2014.
