South Ken basement dig halted by planners

Three separate basement digs in South Kensington have been threatened with shutdown by RBKC planners over traffic disruption.

All basements digs will need planning permission from June next year

Kensington & Chelsea's plans to put a stop to "iceberg houses" and mega-basements have, predictably, riled some property developers.
