One of the biggest names in buying agency, Philip Selway, has been signed up by Chelsea-based consultancy RFR, the Property Private Office.
Selway set up Knight Frank’s independent buying arm in 2002 and has been at the forefront of the industry since the early 80s.
He stepped down as Managing Partner of The Buying Solution in September last year and RFR has just confirmed his appointment as director. According to the firm, he’ll be overseeing the development of strategic partners and institutional relationships, both in the UK and internationally.
It’s yet another big-name appointment by Sophie and Richard Rogerson’s RFR, who recently secured the services of wealth management guru and Lord North Street co-founder William Drake.
Richard Rogerson, CEO, RFR: ‘’We are thrilled to welcome a figure of Philip’s stature on board, further cementing our reputation for offering premium property advice from the best and most experienced consultants in the industry. The appointment of Philip represents the next stage of our growth in the residential market and we are delighted to offer his experience and expertise to our clients.”
Philip Selway: “I am delighted to become part of this hugely unique project. RFR understands what is required to succeed in an ever changing and dynamic industry. Objective, independent advice has sat at the core of my approach to the property industry ever since I joined it some 35 years ago and it is a philosophy that is aligned to that of this business.’’
