Ranked: Asking Vs sold prices around the country
Three UK areas saw homes sell on average for more than 20% above their listing prices in 2019, while three other locations saw average sold prices come in more 25% below average asking prices.
London house prices have risen at nearly twice the pace of the national average in the last ten years
Property prices in Greater London escalated by 82% between 2009 and 2019, according to research house Acadata. That's nearly twice the average house price inflation rate across UK regions (42.6%).
Every region and market sector saw asking prices rise to a record high last month, reports Rightmove; it's the first "full house" since 2007.
