Prime rental stock surges in the Home Counties

It's been a strong Q2 for the lettings market in the Home Counties as rents have risen for the second quarter in a row, but are still 3.8% down on the year.

The number of properties available to let across central London has fallen sharply, with one firm reporting that levels are down 22.5% on the same time last year.

New instructions down by 6% y-o-y; annual price movement now at -4.8%, compared to -5.2% in December 2016
