Prime London rents drop again

Knight Frank's Prime Global Rental Index rose by 1.6% in the final quarter of 2012, taking the annual increase to 5.1% and putting the index 20% above its post-financial crisis low in Q2 2009.

Prime rents across the Home Counties are now 0.8% lower than they were a year ago, after dropping by 0.

Conditions in the residential rental market of prime London remain more bouyant than the sales market, although there is still an air of caution among tenants.
