Prime global rents climb to record highs, but the pace of growth is easing

'We expect prime investment markets to see robust activity in the short to medium-term,' says Knight Frank, as the pace of prime rental price growth eases in ten key cities.

“Rental markets look set to be subdued for the rest of 2021," says Savills as its World Cities rental price index returns to positive growth, but the longer-term outlook is more positive.

Rents in prime cities around the world fell by an average of 1.1% in 2015 - a pretty significant contrast to the 2.5% growth posted in 2014.
