Resort company Six Senses is building a stonking “extremely luxurious” branded chalet in Courchevel – the largest ski area in the world – which is being offered for sale at €12.95m.
“The Lodge”, slated for completion in January 2018, will be independent of the neighbouring Six Senses Residences resort (a 53-apartment development), but residents will still have full access to all “red carpet” holiday facilities, including a fully-specced spa with pool and wellness centre, private Club Lounge and Ski Concierge.
The chalet itself spans three storeys, delivering five ensuite bedrooms plus three additional loos. It also gets its own spa including a sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi and treatment room, a fitness studio and a cinema room. Six Senses is going to town with the interiors, decking rooms out with a gamut of textures including fur, veneer oak, tow-tone marble, smoked glass, bronzed glass and leather.
Knight Frank recently worked out that the average chalet in Courchevel is sold for €15,555 per square metre. Property values in the alpine resort have ticked up by 1% in the last year; read more from KF’s Alpine Property Report here.
