Independent estate agencies look to club together

The Charter for Independent Estate & Letting Agents invites potential founder members to decide what it is/does

Soundings are being taken to create a new mutual organisation for independent  sales and lettings agents, with an aim to promote and represent one- or two-office agencies across the country.

The Charter for Independent Estate & Letting Agents (CIELA) has issued invitations to a “hand-picked selection of owner-managers of  outstanding one or two office independent Estate and Lettings agents from around the country” to an inaugural meeting on 18th January 2017 at the Royal Aeronautical Society Headquarters in London. If those invitees agree to be Founder Members, they’ll form part of the initial Committee that will decide just what the club does and stands for.

If all goes to plan, CIELA wants crack on and officially launch on 1st March. Then the recruitment drive proper can begin, with an ambition to form a committee of 12 Regional and 76 County and 22 London Borough seats.
