Humberts, which has taken to calling itself a “leading multi-disciplinary property company”, has brought in a new Manager for its new Lettings department, based out of its relatively new Berkeley Square offices.
Sam Wright joins from Harrods Estates, where he was Lettings Manager in the Kensington office. Before that, he worked with Hamptons International. He’s now working under Humberts’ Head of Lettings Suzanne Diamond.
The 175-year-old firm launched its Lettings Division in August, offering both traditional agency services (Humberts Lettings), and an online option (Humberts Lettings Direct).
Humberts opened in Mayfair in April this year, under the direction of David Adams, taking over an office and team from John Taylor.
Sam Wright: “I am delighted to join Humberts, one of the most respected agencies in the industry. This is the second time I have overseen the launch of a new lettings department and I am very excited to manage and expand Humberts Mayfair’s lettings portfolio as well as deliver exceptional services to landlords and tenants.”
David Adams, Director at Humberts Mayfair: “We are thrilled that Sam has joined our team enabling us to expand our services across central London. We have seen a large increase in enquiries for both short and long-term rentals from people moving here from abroad as a result of the favourable currency. There’s also been a rise in demand from investors looking for buy-to-lets.”
Suzanne Diamond, Head of Lettings at Humberts: “Sam is a fantastic asset to our new division and is instrumental to the growth of our London department. With Humberts pioneering new lettings services, we anticipate high demand from landlords across central London looking for flexibility whilst at the same time best in class service levels.”
