Heritage Alliance boss to step down in September

Kate Pugh OBE, Chief Executive of campaigning group the Heritage Alliance for the last 13 years, is stepping down from her role later this year.

imageThe Heritage Alliance, established in 2002 as Heritage Link to promote independent players in the heritage sector, now claims to be the biggest alliance of heritage interests in the UK, with over 100 members. Chaired by Lloyd Grossman CBE, the organisation represents independent heritage organisations, from the National Trust and the Historic Houses Association, to more specialist bodies including the seven National Amenity Societies.

Pugh is scheduled to leave in September, and the hunt is now on for a replacement.
