Walton Street-based estate agency Maskells has teamed up with an art consultancy to help its clients choose perfect pieces for their new pads.
The firm has partnered with Narcissus Arts, which was launched by Nicholas Campbell in 2010 after he spotted a gap in the market for a pro advisor specialising in sourcing artworks for under £10,000.
The two independent firms are now offering the bespoke art consultancy service to both buyers and tenants, and Campbell is on-hand to attend viewings and give advice on the suitability of a property and the space for an existing collection; and to advise on the acquisition of additional or alternative pieces.
Charles Curran, Principal at Maskells: “Securing a property is really just the first step in making a home. For busy professionals and families with children, it can be difficult to find the time to consider the finer detail when it comes to investing and acquiring the right artwork to enhance a new living space. At Maskells, we are very focused on doing whatever we can for our clients to make life easier. Our decision to partner with Nicholas Campbell at Narcissus Arts made perfect sense as an enhanced ‘bolt-on’ service to our existing in-house concierge service, White Circle Collection.”
Nicholas Campbell, Narcissus Arts: “People often have very little time or knowledge of where to find the right artwork for their homes. The art market can be a murky place and all too many times, I have come across people who have overpaid for something that lacks true merit. I truly feel that, just in the way people might require the help of a property agent, they will also benefit from seeking advice when it comes to buying art. Not only will Narcissus Arts save you time and money, we will also be sympathetic to the home in question and personal taste of each individual client.”
