It’s been claimed that Qatari Diar has already sold off a batch of super-prime units at Chelsea Barracks, ahead of the official launch later this year.
Bloomberg has been speaking to “a person with knowledge of the matter” and reports that “almost 30” apartments have been spoken for, with buyers “agreeing to pay about £4,500 a square foot”.
The £3 billion project is delivering nearly 450 new homes on the prize 13-acre plot ‘tween Chelsea and Belgravia; construction on the first phase – designed by Squire & Partners – began around this time last year. The report also suggests some kind of show home is being prepped to launch “as soon as next month”. Sales agents Knight Frank and Savills declined to comment.
