Berkeley profits on track to be at a ‘similar level’ to last year, despite a 20% drop in reservations
Sales reservations have "been robust where we have had availability of stock", says major house-builder Berkeley Group, while buyer enquiry levels have been "consistently strong" since November. Pricing has been "stable" and cancellation rates are at "normal levels". The overall impact of the pandemic on build costs “has been neutral.”
