Property Marketing Awards 2013: The Winners

It’s been a while since we’ve had a good old awards ceremony – at least a couple of weeks – but it was the turn of the mighty property marketing world to throw some high-fives last night at the 21st PMAs, held at BAFTA and anchored by former newscaster Andrea Catherwood.

Resi pretty much dominated proceedings. In fact, the resi category of Best Overall Marketing Campaign was so popular this year, that it had to be expanded into three separate sections; Brand Building, Restoration and Residential, UK & International.

Brand consultancy Heavenly were the big winners of the evening, picking up the coveted Victor Ludorum Award, along with Best Overall Marketing Campaign (Resi, UK & International) for some nifty work on Fitzroy Place. The Savills team were also in the gongs, taking home awards for Best Marketing Campaign (Resi Brand Building) and Best Research.

The heavyweight judging panel included Trevor Goodman (Estates Gazette), Kathrin Hersel of Almacantar, Nick Hughes of Knight Frank, Liz Peace CBE, Chief Executive of the British Property Federation, Tim Reid of TTA Property and Jane Rosier, Head of Marketing at the V&A Museum. Roger Southam, Master of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors, headed things up as Chair.

Roger Southam: “There can only be one Victor Ludorum, best in show if you will. The judges’ deliberations created a split on this and caused much debate.

“Eventually we concluded that one winner had managed to take a unique perspective in their campaign and combined with some magnificent photography. The combination of the idea and the concept enabled the judges to reconcile their differences and reach a decision.”
