Earls Court developer Capco has appointed Situl Jobanputra as Chief Financial Officer following the resignation of Soumen Das.
We heard Das would be stepping down as MD & CFO back in the summer, but he’ll be staying on at the firm for another couple of months to make sure there’s a smooth handover.
Jobanputra, who’ll be taking up the executive director position as of 1st January, led Deutsche Bank’s UK real estate investment banking team for five years before joining Capco in 2014 to provide support on corporate finance and capital markets, and oversee the finance functions at Earls Court and Lillie Square.
A statement confirmed responsibility for the overseeing of Covent Garden will revert to Capco’s Chief Exec Ian Hawksworth.
Ian Hawksworth: “We are delighted to welcome Situl to the Board of Capco and the role of Chief Financial Officer. He is well respected within the company and the wider markets and has significant investment banking and finance experience. Capco is committed to developing talent and Situl has consistently delivered since joining Capco. This appointment will also allow the existing successful finance structure to continue to operate efficiently.”
