Stepien Lake is a property law firm based in London’s West End. We specialise in commercial and residential development, investment, finance and corporate occupier work for major UK and international corporates.
Our primary focus is property law, whether that involves development agreements, joint ventures, options, overages, leases, planning agreements, promotion agreements, purchase contracts, conditional contracts or otherwise . We also offer property, general and commercial litigation advice, including commercial and residential landlord and tenant, rights of light, ransoms, boundaries and party walls, contractual and partnership matters.
We have built up extensive experience in property and property related issues which enables us to solve problems quickly and effectively.
Many of our deals are complex and document intensive. To maintain effective control over the transaction process we have developed bespoke document management systems based on extranets, personalised to suit an individual client’s needs and requirements – as well as of the project itself.
Once an acquisition has been made, we have a dedicated asset management unit which provides a range of services linked to property management, including leasing, renewals, licences to sublet and assign and lease enforcement.
Our experience, knowledge and technical sophistication provide our clients with a service on a par with our counterparts in large City law firms.
