GKR London have been instructed to find an experienced Renewals Negotiator to work for one of our biggest and most prestigious Clients, as part of their high performing Lettings Renewals team.
This is a rarely available and highly sought after position, that will give you the opportunity to work alongside some of the best in the industry.
Working within the Renewals team the successful candidate will provide Negotiator support to Renewals team and report to Director of Tenancy Renewals.
Raising 90 days renewal chasers emails/phone calls.
Co-Ordinating directly with Managers for portfolio rent reviews
Negotiating renewal contract terms to win rent lifts whilst retaining high Tenant retention
Providing general administrative and telephone support and liaising directly with landlords and tenants regarding rent reviews and negotiations
Occasional drafting and issuing tenancy agreements, memorandums of extension, general termination paperwork and legal notices (including section 21’s) to landlords and tenants by email and post (primarily supported by an administration team)
Occasionally coordinating tenant referencing via online agency Homelet and other methods where required (primarily supported by an administration team)
Updating and maintaining RADAR lettings software pipeline schedule(s)
Maintain processes and procedures to a high standard and in line with company practice.
Issuing invoices, processing card payments and chasing outstanding administrative/rent/client fee payments
Overseeing 2-3 office portfolio circa 600-700 lets, expected to increase in coming 12-24 months
Previous renewal negotiation essential, letting administration experience preferable
Highly organised with efficient time management
Ability to work under pressure in a busy and active environment
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Office – including Word, Excel and Outlook required
Knowledge of lettings software including Reapit, Echosign, Homelet and or RADAR desirable but is not essential
Ability to work and support small and large team environments
ARLA 1-3 qualification desirable as candidates will be encouraged to sit ARLA exams
Working knowledge of Right to Rent and Tenant Fee Ban legislation desirable but not essential
