Our Client is looking to strengthen their Development Consultancy offering within the London Residential Development (LRD) team, in order to provide our clients with comprehensive new homes advice but to also maximise the new homes opportunities derived from this service.
As a key function of LRD, the Consultancy team specialises in providing developer clients with comprehensive advice to support their aims to achieve financially viable and successful residentially-led schemes.
The department is involved in a wide range of projects across London, from large-scale regeneration schemes through to small-scale luxury developments.
We currently have a vacancy for a dynamic Business Development Consultant. The individual will be required to:
·Provide developer clients with detailed and current residential development market intelligence.
·Scheme unit pricing in support of land acquisitions and new homes marketing campaigns.
·Scheme viability and options appraisals.
·Scheme optimisation and design advice with detailed feedback on ways to maximise value and reduce sales risk.
·Supporting the team in the submission and delivery of pitches for new business.
·Assist the team in generating new homes business for the wider London team, playing a key role in growing the business.
·Contribute to LRD’s annual income by supporting the team in the securing of new homes business.
·Develop relationships with key developer clients and network on a regular basis within the industry to secure new business.
·Engage with the local office network to identify new business opportunities
Skills and Ability
·The individual should have an in depth knowledge of the London residential development market;
·Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to identify the most effective way to present information;
·A drive to network within the residential sector and a desire to assist with the winning of new business and to build relationships with a diverse group of developers;
·Highly competent with Microsoft excel, Word and Powerpoint;
We are seeking a candidate who has experience of working in the London residential development sector on the agency or developer side.
It would be an advantage, but not essential if the candidate is RICS qualified or working towards this.
