Property Accountant – Marylebone – Up to £70,000 dependent on experience plus private healthcare and annual bonus
We’re looking for an efficient and extremely capable Property Accountant to provide a full accounting function for some of London’s most impressive and luxurious super prime residential managed blocks.
A very successful residential property management company, with several billion under management and a further several billion coming to the market over the next 5 years, clients include Northacre, Finchatton and Ronson Capital Partners.
Established over 8 years ago, they specialise in the block and property management of some of the most luxurious and prestigious residential properties in London.
Key responsibilities of the Property Accountant:
Assist and advise on Service charge budgets
Upload budgets to system and calculate Service Charge on Accounts
Invoice periodic Service Charge on Accounts, Ground Rents, Resident Package fees and ad-hoc charges to Developers, Landlords, Lessees and internal invoicing
Weekly bank reconciliations for approx. 90 designated Client accounts
Overview of the Purchase Ledger function, including releasing of supplier invoices for BACS runs after cash flow analysis
Quarterly reporting of Resident Package, Re-Charge funds and Management fees to Company accountants for the Quarterly Management accounts
Set-up of new instructions in Qube, including setting up Owner, Property, Funds, Units, Tenants and Landlord Void Residuals
Must have experience in all aspects of Property Management accounting, including full understanding of accounts to trial balance
Qube experience essential
Experience of mixed-use schemes and the treatment and reconciliation of VAT for residential and commercial leases
NatWest Bankline, or similar online banking system
Use of World Pay for credit card transactions
